Families seeking financial support toward tuition and required fees for the 2027-28 school year will need to reapply through Clarity beginning Sept. 1, 2026.
Key Financial Support Dates for 27-28
Dec. 1, 2026: Deadline for returning families seeking financial support for 27-28. This includes returning families that currently receive financial support and those that do not but will seek it next year.
Feb. 1, 2027: Financial support application deadline for families with a child beginning at Trinity in fall 2027.

Returning families that apply for financial support by Dec. 1, will receive their financial support decision during re-enrollment in February. First-time applicants for financial support will receive their decision at the same time as their admission decision if accepted.

Opportunity Scholarship Information
Update for 26-27 school year: Families who applied for a North Carolina Opportunity Scholarship for the 2026-27 school year and received a scholarship offer need to endorse the offer for the fall semester by logging in to My Portal. Families will repeat this same process for the spring semester in January or February.
The Opportunity Scholarship application window for the 26-27 school year closed on Aug. 14, 2026. Families interested in applying for a scholarship towards tuition and required school fees will be able to apply during the priority window when the 27-28 application window opens in February.
Information on 27-28 school year: Families applying for financial support for the 27-28 school year are required to apply for the Opportunity Scholarship. Current scholarship recipients will receive an offer to renew the scholarship for 27-28 beginning in late January. The window for new scholarship applicants is between early February and early March, followed by a notification on the scholarship beginning in April.
