Trinity Extended Day Handbook: Enrichment Programs

Enrichment Programs

All Trinity students are welcome and encouraged to participate in enrichment afternoons. Enrichment programs are offered several days a week by Trinity staff or independent contractors. The selection of classes will surely temp every palette. Examples include chess, cooking, music, dance, karate, photography, Web design, horseback riding, fencing, digital photography and much more. Classes will be advertised and registration will be taken at the beginning of each trimester. The menu of choices will vary by trimester (all programs are 10 weeks in length; parents will be billed accordingly). An enrollment maximum will be set to ensure high quality participation and cost effectiveness. Daily drop-in students are also welcome to enroll in enrichment programs and all students are expected to be picked up upon completion of the program from the TED room. Parents must physically come in and sign out their child. Parents who have expertise or who know of instructors interested in presenting programs should contact Loris Adams(ladams@tescharlotte.org) to receive further details.

Occasionally, a program will not fill to the minimum capacity. If this occurs, Trinity will return all funds remitted to those students who registered for the program in question. We are reluctant to make these cancellations and will do so with regret only if it is not feasible to implement the program. These decisions will be made no later, but usually earlier, than one week prior to the program’s intended date of implementation.
