Wildcats Booster Club

The Wildcats Booster Club (WBC) is a service organization made up parents and others interested in the support of the TES athletic program, serving under the auspices of the Parents’ Association and supervision of the Athletic Director. Membership is a primary source of income and includes passes to home events!

 

The coaches of each sport select a parent to act as a liaison from their sport to the WBC organization. Liaisons are responsible for assigning both gate and concession workers for their sport(s) and arranging for transportation as needed. They are also helpful in organizing food for athletes when travel dictates the need.

 

Requests for specific sport needs are done in the form of a wish list. Coaches, please do not approach WBC members individually for your needs; this is not professional and puts the WBC member in an awkward position. It also can be a source of dissension between coaches.

Wish Lists will be handled in the following manner:

1.      Head coaches will submit a list of their needs/requests in writing to the WBC president, Athletic Director and Athletic Council.

2.      The entire list will be published and distributed to the whole department.

3.      Each head coach will have an opportunity to represent his/her needs to the WBC and members of the Athletic Council.

4.      The WBC will take all requests and prioritize the needs of the department. No item will be deleted. A coach’s order of 

         preference on individual items will not be changed. The Athletic Director will have input in the committee’s discussions.

5.      The original lists from each head coach, as well as the committees’ prioritized list, will be given to the WBC president on a

         specified date.

6.      The WBC president will communicate to the Athletic Director the Wish List items that will be honored, the items that will be on

         hold pending revenue and the items that will be postponed until next year.

7.      The Athletic Director will keep an accurate record of requests fulfilled and those postponed. This Wish List record will be used

         in award committee decision-making in future years.
