The Nominating Committee of the PALT

A Nominating committee which shall include at least two members of the PALT shall convene in the month of February to determine a slate of candidates for the PALT for the following year. The President-Elect will chair the committee and will usually be joined by the past President, President and Vice-President. At the April PA meeting, members of the Parents’ Association will elect officers.

 

The Chairs of the PA Committees will:

• Oversee the planning and execution of their committee’s work, in conjunction with the appointed staff liaison
• Coordinate calendar events with the PA, TES administration and board of trustees, as needed
• Attend PA meetings to give updated and solicit input needed to carry out their committee work
• Submit a written report at the end of the year, which details the work of their committee; appreciate the volunteers on each committee at the end of the year
